9/20 Westminster Concert Series Celebrates 200 Years of Chopin
Concert line-up continues into the 2010 school year

SALT LAKE CITY – The 2010 Westminster Concert Series hosts the final three recitals of the Chopin Extravaganza featuring some of the foremost pianists in the Intermountain West. All concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Mondays in the Vieve Gore Concert Hall in the Emma Eccles Jones Conservatory.
Fréderic Chopin wrote some of the greatest music the world has ever heard, and 2010 marks the bicentennial year of his birth. Westminster College will celebrate the infamous composer, of whom it was said, “Nobody can be compared to him—he stands singly and uniquely in the artistic heavens.”
